Project Manager – Bristol – Up to £65,000 + Benefits
A cutting-edge tech provider are currently looking for a skilled Project Manager to join their world class team located in Bristol and help to deliver, develop and implement a wide variety of projects and programmes.
As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for running these projects and programmes from inception to delivery, liaising with customers and partners, coordinating activities across a multi-disciplinary team, planning and directing the project, monitoring and reporting on progress. Your primary duties will include, but won’t be limited to:
• Planning, executing and delivering customer projects according to agreed timelines and budget
• Working with project stakeholders to capture, record and track project requirements
• Defining project objectives and creating an execution plan to include resourcing, milestones, dependencies and risks
• Monitoring, tracking and reporting on progress against the plan, identifying issues and risks arising and proposing and planning solutions
• Occasional hands-on participation with internal resources
The ideal candidate will have excellent experience in formal project management of complex, multi-disciplinary, multi-national and successful projects, in all phases of the project. Ideally, you will hold a current, formal qualification in project management (Prince2/PMI/APM), and will have strong familiarity with project management software.
As the Project Manager you will be able to successfully manage relationships with customers and stakeholders, as well as show great organisational skills, communication skills and problem-solving ability. Ideally, you will hold some technical expertise, demonstrated by the ability to create technology, products and solutions for a broad range of problems.
A natural leader, you’ll be able to manage, motivate and develop a team effectively; prioritising and executing tasks in a high pressure environment, whilst empowering others to make decisions. You’ll be resourceful and innovative, and will be able to provide a supportive framework in which your team and colleagues can be challenged and developed effectively.
