Technical Support Analyst – Bristol – Up to £35,000 + Bonus & Benefits
A market leading organisation are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Technical Support Analyst to join their dynamic Bristol-based team.

The Role

The role will involve working within diverse IT department, managing support requests from a variety of internal and external sources. You will be responsible for managing the support queue, liaising with business users, product owners, business analysts, developers and other support analysts to ensure that requests are dealt with correctly and in a timely manner. As the Technical Support Analyst, you’ll be a key member of the team, building a high level of detailed technical understanding of the application and database, as well as diagnosing and fixing application and database data issues. Your primary duties will include, but won’t be limited to:

• Accessing production systems to assist with incident management, debugging and configuration
• Accessing production databases to assist with running ad-hoc queries and data fixes
• Working with a wide range of technical and non-technical teams
• Ensuring a high quality and timely response to support requests
• Documentation of processes and procedures
• Providing on-call support as part of a rota

About You

In order to be successful, you will have strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work and thrive as part of a cross-disciplinary team. You’ll be confident liaising with senior stakeholders and non-technical staff, whilst gaining an intimate understanding of the customer, market and technical systems.

From a technical standpoint, the Technical Support Analyst with have proven experience of working in a customer or technical support role, using SQL to query and update data in a production context. You will have previously used support software and will have a strong IT competency.
