Technical Architect – London – Up to £60,000 + Bonus & Benefits
A leading sports agency based are looking for a skilled Technical Architect to join their vibrant and diverse technical team located in Central London. This is a unique opportunity for someone who’s both an avid sports fan and has a passion for technology wanting to take the next step in their career, working for an exciting and expanding company.
The client work with sports clubs, leagues, federations and events to help them understand their customers through the use of data and are always looking for ways to innovate technically and with this data. As part of their ongoing growth, the technical team is expanding and such is the need for someone with good experience of general solution/technical architecture design, setup and implementation.
Whilst the primary role will be to own the data environments and help define internal products and solutions; the Technical Architect will also be given the opportunity to help shape the technology, supporting some fantastic clients, picking up new skills, pushing the boundaries with new technologies and helping to deliver rewarding projects.
In order to be successful, you will need to have a passion for technology, an eagerness to learn and great problem-solving skills. You’ll have the ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced Agile environment and yet retain a keen attention to detail.
From a technical aspect, you will strong skillset including experience of some/all of the following:
• Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud platforms
• Data solution development
• SQL Server skills, including instance setup, query tuning, indexing, partitioning
• Data technologies, such as Amazon Redshift, Google Big Data, Azure Data lake, HDInsight, Hadoop
• Release management, process automation, source control
• CRM platforms, such as Dynamics, Salesforce
• Integration experience
• Technical authoring, proposal writing, solution design
