1st Line Support Engineer – Bristol – Up to £24,000 + Benefits
A leading law firm based in Bristol are currently searching for an enthusiastic 1st Line Support Engineer to join their diverse team and help support the whole firm with IT support, including partners and business support staff.
As the 1st Line Support Engineer, you’ll be responsible for delivering excellent customer service at all times, being available to take phone calls from employees and partners, and utilising time on the phone effectively to meet KPI targets and SLA’s. You’ll have to log all incidents in the IT Service Management tool, ensuring appropriate detail is captured and updating throughout the incident lifecycle. Following escalation processes, the 1st Line Support Engineer will ensure incidents are assigned to the relevant team or individual, enabling incidents to be resolved in an efficient and timely manner.
The suitable candidate will be able to demonstrate a supportive, flexible and driven working ethos, with a willingness to embrace team working and a passion for client service. You will have previous experience of working within a professional and busy IT service desk, showing excellent customer service skills, telephone manner and written communication skills. Hardware and virtual desktop knowledge is essential, as well as great troubleshooting and information gathering skills. As the 1st Line Support Engineer, you will have the ability to remain calm under pressure whilst working with people at all levels of seniority and technical knowledge.
