Role: BI Developer
Location: Caerphilly (Hybrid)

Role:

• BI Developer specializing in SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS, your role includes creating, improving, and overseeing business intelligence solutions.
• You collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into efficient data integration, analysis, and reporting solutions.
• Your SQL Server expertise enables you to build robust data pipelines, design analytical models, and deliver valuable reports and interactive dashboards.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Bachelor’s or Master’s).
• Proven BI Development experience with SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS expertise.
• Strong SQL skills, including optimization, database design, and performance enhancement.
• Proficiency in data warehousing, dimensional modelling, and ETL processes.
• Ability to create analytical models and cubes using SSAS.
• Experience in producing reports, dashboards, and visualizations with SSRS.
• Familiarity with tools like Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
• Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance.
• Strong problem-solving skills for complex data challenges.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• SQL Server certifications (e.g., MCSA: SQL Server, MCSE: Data Management and Analytics) are advantageous.
