Role: Lead Architect 
Location: Corsham

Day Rate: Up to £700 p/d

Note: Minimum SC clearance is required (British Nationals only)

Reporting directly to the Programme Manager of our Defence Digital client, this leadership role is pivotal within the Programme’s Senior Leadership Team. The ideal candidate will serve as the key aide to the Programme Manager, overseeing technical decisions at a Grade 7 level within Defence Digital.

Responsibilities: 

• Leading a diverse team, collaborating with various architect roles and suppliers involved in delivering to this crucial Defence programme.
• Coordination and active engagement with architects to facilitate communication with the Technical Design Authority are essential.
• The right fit will possess robust leadership skills, technical proficiency, and the confidence to brief Senior Leaders and Technical Authorities within Defence.

Key Requirements:

• Must have recent experience working on a SC cleared project
• Managing other architects including enterprise architect and data security architect
• Strong leadership, technical acumen, and the ability to engage with diverse architect roles and suppliers.
• Demonstrated experience in solution architecture, particularly akin to a Lead Solution Architect role.
• Proficiency in Digital Transformation, including familiarity with Identity and Access Management (IdAM).
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate and negotiate across different levels.
• Proficiency in applying Project Management methodology in technical contexts.
• Strategic thinking capability and the capacity to implement strategic visions.
• Understanding of operational management of identity services and skills in access and authentication.
• Knowledge of applying Digital Identity in similar client markets.
• Desirable: Familiarity with Defence policies such as JSP 440/604.
