Java Architect – Bristol – Up to £80,000 + Benefits & Pension
An exciting and market leading software house are currently searching for a skilled Java Architect to join their diverse team located in the heart of Bristol.

The Role

Joining the Java Development team, you’ll be surrounded by smart, highly-capable individuals in a collaborative environment that encourages helping others by sharing knowledge and experience. You’ll be passionate about delivering great solutions to the end clients and comfortable solving complex technical problems and presenting proposals to prospective clients.

Following an Agile approach with solid development practices, you will use a wide range of enterprise Java applications and will gain the opportunity to be exposed to and learn a variety of new and in-demand technologies.

The Individual

In a hands on, client-facing role, the suitable Java Architect will have proven commercial Java experience, preferably in enterprise-scale applications, as well as strong technical expertise in Java, HTML5/JavaScript and frameworks such as Angular or Knockout.

You’ll have the ability to manage clients and advise on technology choices and system improvements, whilst helping people build and deliver high-quality applications by evaluating IT systems, overseeing application-level design decisions and helping to solve architecture-level problems.

The Java Architect will be creative and self-motivated with a demonstrable passion for technology, teamwork and the ability to adapt to and learn new skills.
