Senior Python Developer – Full Stack/Back End – Cambridge – Up to £80,000 + Bonus & Benefits
A cutting-edge tech start-up are currently searching for a Senior Python Developer with full stack/back end experience to join their highly-skilled development team located in Cambridge. This is a great opportunity for who relishes the unique challenges of working with a small and effective team, solving problems that arise through continually building exciting new products on a global scale.

The Opportunity

As the Senior Python Developer, you will be given autonomy and ownership within a collaborative environment, as well as the chance to work with some of the world’s leading brands, building an industry leading product. Your primary responsibility will be to write clean, scalable and reusable code to deliver the features on the company roadmap. To do this, your daily duties will include, but won’t be limited to:

• Maintaining well documented release notes and change logs
• Developing back end components to improve responsiveness and overall performance
• Integrating user-facing elements into applications
• Suggesting new solutions or technology for the team to use

About You

As the Senior Python Developer, you’ll be professional, assertive and well-organised, with the ability to communicate clearly with others and share your knowledge with the community. You’ll be part of a passionate, thoughtful and friendly team, so you will need to share these same values and enjoy working in a collaborative environment, bouncing ideas off each other. You will be a highly motivated individual with the desire and eagerness to continually learn new techniques and technologies.

From a technical perspective, you will have strong, demonstrable background of delivering simple and effective code, with excellent Python development experience. You’ll have good knowledge of JavaScript, HTML and CSS, as well as the ability to use and create web APIs. Any previous knowledge of ORM and/or relational databases, is beneficial.
